On Saturday 10 June, Fr. Philip LeMasters gave a lecture in the Russian Orthodox Church in Amsterdam. During his talk, he explained that Eucharist is central to every aspect of a Christian’s life and he focused on marriage, relationships and sexuality. As Fr. Philip emphasised in marriage as well as in the Eucharist we are offered a foretaste of life in the Kingdom of God, and that is the reason why the Christian marriage could be seen as a similar act of sacrifice. Sexuality is to be cherished as an integral part of marriage.
